Week Commencing 30.03.20
I hope that you are all well and keeping safe. Don't forget to share your amazing work with me by asking your parents to email me photos at firstname.lastname@example.org
Keep exercising and remember to go for a walk outside if you can.
Here are some fun activities to keep you busy this week...
During the last week at school we were turning cereal boxes into Tudor houses but unfortunately we didn't get chance to finish them. Now you can complete them at home! Think carefully about the key features of a Tudor house and put these onto the box. Remember that the houses were black and white so don't be tempted to paint them rainbow colours!
Activity 1 King Charles reigned London in 1666. Use the internet to research about his life, family and achievements. Click here for a research format.
Now use your research to write a fact sheet about King Charles II. The fact sheet is for someone who knows nothing about King Charles II so make sure that your writing is interesting to read. Click here for a format.
*Note if you are unable to research online you could research about your own family and create a fact sheet about you.
Activity 3 Practice reading and spelling the Y2 Common Exception Words. How many can you remember?
Activity 4- Handwriting- practice the following joins.
Crack the Code!
Can you find out the value of each image by adding and subtracting numbers?
