All Saint's Richmond Hill Church Of England Primary School

Welcome to Year 3!

Mr Adamson is our teacher and Miss Cummings is our teaching assistant. We are lucky that Sara is based in our class too.   Mrs Coggan teaches us on Mondays and Mrs Price on a Friday afternoon.  What a lot of adults to help us!

Our theme for this half term is Yabadabadoo! This is based on Stone Age to Iron Age history. A read of the curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will give you plenty of information about what we are studying and how to support your child.

Hard to believe that we are now entering our last half term of the year!  We have lots of hard work still to do, but plenty to look forward to including Sports Day and Takeover Day.  Our final theme is Nature - Beauty and the Beast.  A good read of our curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will give you a good outline of what we are studying and how to support your child.

This half term we have another fabulous theme - Gods, Monsters and Mortals, to really excite our imaginations! During the term we will become familiar with some  fascinating myths and legends from Ancient Greece, and much more too! A good read of our curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will give you a good outline of what we are studying and how to support your child.

This half term is a brand new theme - Let there be Light! This is a science based theme with DT also playing an important part .  I'm sure the children will love making shadow puppets! At the end of term you will be getting an invite to join us for our celebration day. As usual, the curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will give you a good insight into what we are studying and how to help your child.

Our theme this term - Spring 1 - is Rocking All Over the World! Any Status Quo fans out there?! It includes us reading the fantastic Kenzuke's Kingdom and a read of the curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will give you a very good idea of what we will be doing.

Stone Age Fun! Here are some photos of us on our fantastic trip to Herd Farm and enjoying our celebration day - making Stone Age axes!

Here we are at Wagamama in town.  What a great time we had!
