All Saint's Richmond Hill Church Of England Primary School

Welcome to Year 3!

Mr Adamson is our teacher and Miss Cummings is our teaching assistant. We also have Sara working with us this year.   We are also taught at times, mainly Mondays, by Miss Jowitt and Mrs Coggan.

We have got a great start to the year lined up in Year 3!  A good read of our curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will tell you loads about what we will be learning about and how you can support your children.

This half term we have another fabulous theme - Gods, Monsters and Mortals, to really excite our imaginations! During the term we will become familiar with some  fascinating myths and legends from Ancient Greece, and much more too! A good read of our curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will give you a good outline of what we are studying and how to support your child.

Our theme this term - Spring 1 - is Rocking All Over the World! Any Status Quo fans out there?! It includes us reading the fantastic Kenzuke's Kingdom and a read of the curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will give you a very good idea of what we will be doing.

Our theme this term - Autumn 2-  is Yabadabadoo! Anyone who grew up in the 70s and 80s will immediately recognise this and not be surprised that our theme is based around the Stone Age.

A read of our curriculum letter and knowledge mat below will give you a good idea of what we are doing and how you can help your child.

As part of our theme we had an amazing fun packed trip to Wagamama in town.  Rob and the team gave us such a warm welcome and we learnt how to use chopsticks, we made some tasty healthy smoothies and weighed out the ingredients for our delicious lunch. The food was amazing!  Thanks Wagamama!

Our first theme - Nutritious and Delicious - gives us  a really interesting start to Year 3.  Reading the curriculum letter below, and the knowledge mats, will give you a clear idea of our first half term's work and how you can support your child's learning at home.
