Today we launched our new theme, Invasion.  We looked at Anglo-Saxon patterns and created our own brooch.   We used tools to engrave into metal.

Summer 1

This week we have been making our Space buggies.  We followed our plans and used tools carefully to create our buggies.

6th February 2024

Today was our Celebration Day.  

 We took part in fun games, including Tic Tac Toe, pieing and eating a donut on a string! Our parents joined us in all of the fun!

Spring 1 Road Trip!

This half term we will be focusing on Geography; we will be looking at South America and North America and will be making comparisons between the two.  Our class book this half term is Holes by Louis Sachar.  Take a look at our Curriculum Letter at further learning opportunities and how you can support your child this half term.  

Autumn 2 Celebration Day

Today we celebrated all of the learning that took place this half term.  We experimented with cogs....

Autumn 2 Historical Navigators: Where do we come from?

This half term we will be learning about the history of Leeds and where we come from.  We will be taking a walk to the city centre to  look at key buildings in Leeds.  We will also be learning about the Windrush Empire and the impact that this had on the NHS.  Take a look at out Curriculum Letter to see what we else we will be learning about this half term.

Home Sweet Habitat Celebration Day...

Today we created Sea Sculptures to celebrate the end of our theme.  We thought about all of the things that we have learned.

Autumn 1

This half term our theme is Home Sweet Habitat.  We will be thinking about biomes and world habitats.  We will be going on a visit to The Deep which we are very excited about!  We will be thinking about life cycles and will be comparing different life cycles.  

PE will be on Thursdays and children will  go swimming every Monday morning: please send your child into school in their PE kits on these days.
