We would like to introduce our new provision, The Nook. This is a welcoming space where we focus on developing relationships alongside academic learning. It is run by our SENDCO, Mrs Saville, in conjunction with each child's class teacher.

 

We believe that all children have the right to access an appropriate education where they feel safe, loved and free to express themselves. Through building and maintaining positive, trusting and meaningful relationships, we want to provide opportunities for our children to develop vital social skills, confidence, self-esteem and become ready to learn academically. We want to focus on The Six Principles of Nurture to progress children’s social and emotional development as well as their academic learning.
